Noah Meier, AIA, NCARB

Architect | Healthcare Design | Technical Excellence

Hi,

I’m Noah Meier, a licensed architect based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. My professional experience is rooted primarily in healthcare and behavioral health design, where I’ve worked across project phases from early planning and schematic design through construction administration.

I’m particularly interested in architecture that balances thoughtful design with technical rigor—creating spaces that respond carefully to the diverse people who use them while navigating the complex realities of healthcare and commercial environments. In my work, I’ve explored ways to improve both the design and delivery process by advancing firmwide documentation standards, mentoring emerging professionals, and collaborating across multidisciplinary project teams.

Beyond project work, I’m interested in how architects can contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable profession. I develop and review ARE exam content through NCARB, have helped lead equity initiatives within BWBR, and am currently working with AIA Minnesota to establish a committee focused on LGBTQIA+ visibility, inclusion, and mentorship within the profession.

Outside of architecture, I enjoy exploring public libraries, traveling to new cities, and taking public transit whenever possible. On any given weekend, you can likely find me exploring Minneapolis and Saint Paul with my partner Josh and our dog, Sophie.
